PADI Emergency First Response
First aid and CPR are good skills for anyone involved in adventure sports such as scuba diving – just in case. And, you will need these skills for the Rescue Diver course.
Emergency First Response is a PADI affiliate that specializes in teaching these lifesaving skills – and they’re for anyone, not just divers. Most PADI Instructors are also Emergency First Response Instructors!
Emergency First Response training is learning serious medical emergency response skills in an upbeat, positive environment. You will gain the confidence that you are prepared to help others or yourself in an emergency, diving or non-diving related.
EFR courses encompasses adult, child and infant CPR skills, provides AED and First Aid training.
Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet program prerequisites, such as the PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster.
No dive certification is required and there is no age limit for this program.
